For René Little, gastronomy has long been one of the most meaningful ways to experience the world. Her perspective has been shaped through years of traveling internationally and seeking out memorable food and wine experiences—from Michelin-starred restaurants and chef’s tables to exceptional family-owned establishments, regional kitchens, and local discoveries that reveal something distinctive about a place.She approaches those experiences with curiosity—asking questions, engaging with chefs and sommeliers, understanding the ingredients, techniques, traditions, and stories behind what is on the plate and in the glass. That curiosity travels home with her.René regularly recreates and reinterprets dishes inspired by her travels, bringing international flavors and culinary traditions into her own kitchen and into the experiences she creates for others.Her perspective is complemented by formal wine education as a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) through the Society of Wine Educators and holder of the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.Soleil Sommelier brings that global perspective, discernment, and curiosity to your table.Every Soleil Sommelier experience is personally curated by René, bringing her wine expertise, international perspective, and discerning eye to each client’s individual vision.
